At the October general meeting three new officers were elected to the Board of Directors of the Dearborn Hills Civic Association (DHCA). The contact information for the Board is listed on our neighborhood website www.dearbornhills.org . At our October Board meeting we discussed our goals for the year and agreed that our major objectives include: more communications with our neighbors, informal events that bring neighbors together, and improved communications about our deed restrictions. Remember to renew your DHCA membership as your dues fund various neighborhood events and maintain our islands.
Look for monthly e-mails from the DHCA and a quarterly electronic newsletter. An e-mail list is being maintained by the Board and there is also a link on the website to sign up for communications. Your information will remain confidential.
The Directors or Trustees are always glad to hear from you with your comments, input, and suggestions. Our goal is to continue to ensure that Dearborn Hills is a beautiful neighborhood where we all feel like neighbors.
We hope to see you at Bailey’s on January 19!

Any plans for a Dearborn Hills 5K run this year?
Unfortunately, we are not planning one for this year. If this is an event you or someone you know would like to help with in the future, please let us know!
There is a liability issue, plus the cost of police and fire is to high for a 5-k run
Hi, I live over on S Waverly. I was just wondering if there are any plans set into motion or being processed for fixing up the streets in our neighborhood? They are very worn down and seem to be worse than the Winter before. Our neighborhood is so nice, and it be nice to keep it up, although I understand this is very costly.
I’m very sorry for not addressing this sooner. We’re still working out the operation of this website. There is an article posted on the “News” link that explains the situation you ask about. “Combined Sewer Overflow Project and Dearborn Hills Streets”. It appears the streets will be resurfaced in combination with the CSO project in 2012 in Dearborn Hills East of Telegraph. Hope this helps and thanks for using the website. We are striving to make improvements to this valuable resource.
